Harold Waldon Copeland, 95, passed away at home on Christmas Eve, 2011. He was a World War II Veteran and retired from First Federal Savings & Loan of Maryville. An avid bird-watcher, photographer, and tennis player, he especially enjoyed hiking with family in The Great Smoky Mountains. He was preceded in death by: Beloved Wife, Julia Sellers Copeland. Survivors include: Sons, Tim Copeland of Biddeford, Maine and Chris Copeland & his wife Edy of Knoxville; Daughter, Carol & her husband Gary Morton of Apison, TN; Grandchildren, Jonathan & Kimberly Morton, Elizabeth Morton & Todd Stires, Rebecca Morton, Mary & Rick Beckley, Sarah & Chris Sanborn, Jill Copeland, Samuel & Kelsey Copeland; many nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. Special Caregivers & Close Friends, Peggy McKee, Kathy McKee, Rhonda McKee, and Dan Hamby. A Celebration of Harold's Life will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
