Gregory Chad Wright

Gregory Chad Wright, 43, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. Born September 9, 1974, Chad was proud of his mountain heritage and will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of bluegrass music, playing his banjo and computers. Chad graduated from Heritage High School and attended Hiwassee College, working as an IT Specialist. Preceding him in death were his father, Gordon Edward Wright, Sr.; grandparents, Wille and Nancy Wright and Floyd and Mattie Tipton. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Janice Wright; brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Monika Wright; nieces and nephew, Isabella and Victoria Wright and Zachariah Johnson; with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Smithview Pavilion, 601 Smithview Drive, Maryville, with a Celebration of Chad’s life to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev.
