Gordon McCall

Dr. Gordon McCall age 74 of Maryville passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church. He enjoyed raising cattle and tending the family farm throughout his life. He graduated from Lanier High School, University of Tennessee Knoxville and University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He practiced medicine in Blount County for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison & Isa Porter McCall. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Judy Mills McCall; daughters & sons-in-law, Kim McCall & Mark Ellison of Maryville, Christy & Brian King of Lenoir City, Sherri & Andy Self of Maryville; grandchildren, Sarah & Katie Lynn King, Jude Ellison, Tyler & Jake Self; brother & sister-in-law, James & Wilma McCall; nephews, Jim McCall, Paul & wife, Tarra McCall. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008, Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Doug Sager officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 2008 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment. Memorial donations may be made to the Blount Memorial Foundation, 907 E.
