Gordon E. Marshall

Gordon E. Marshall of Maryville, TN passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016. He is survived by his wife Jean. They had been happily married for 66 years. He is also survived by his four children, Nancy (Steve), Gordon Jr. (Nancy), Douglas (Christie), Pamela (Mark), nine grandchildren and sisters Laura, Norma and Linda. During WW II, Gordon spent duty in the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean and Russia. After the war he studied accounting at Northeastern University and then began his professional career at Industrial National Bank in Providence, RI. After several years in public accounting, he took a position in 1955 as comptroller at Fulflex, Inc., in Bristol, RI. He was with Fuflex for 35 years, traveling extensively and helping start up several companies. He retired in 1989 as Executive Vice President. After retiring, Jean and Gordon moved from Rhode Island to Vero Beach, FL where they lived for 12 years. They then moved to Tennessee.
