Gordon “Blaine” Adams II of Knoxville, TN died unexpectedly on November 22, 2018 at the age of 33, while driving home. Blaine is survived by his wife Blythe Elizabeth Hall; his daughter Evelyn Bailey Adams; parents Gordon and Kay Adams; his grandfather Billy Bell, grandparents George and Marilyn Adams; his sisters Bonnie Pope and Amanda Stringer; his in-laws John and Heide Rosenberg; two nephews and five nieces. He is predeceased by his grandmother Eva Bell and nephew Westly Pope. Blaine was born in Colorado Springs, CO April 17th 1985 to Gordon and Kay Adams. He was attending Pellissippi Community College for cyber security and worked as IT Supervisor at Staples where he was just promoted to Sales Manager. On May 5th 2017, he married Blythe, a hairdresser and his best friend. On April 5th 2016 he welcomed his beautiful daughter Evelyn who was the most important part of his life. Blaine was a devoted father and husband. He enjoyed hiking and backpacking with family and friends, was well versed in Marvel and DC universes, online gaming, working on cars and socializing with people that he loved. Blaine loved to go to restaurants and see movies in the theater. He was always willing to help anyone and a generous person with his time. Blaine was a great listener and confidante to his coworkers, friends and family. He was always the first to lighten the mood with a joke or sarcastic comment. He always had a smile ready. He will be deeply missed by friends, family and all who knew him. Guests will be received from 1:00 to 5:00 pm followed by memorial services Thursday, November 29th at Smith Funeral and Cremation, 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803.
