Golda Potter age 87 of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at Asbury Place Maryville. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Golda loved to play Rook and always put everyone before herself. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She retired from Levi’s after 21 years. She loved cooking, being outdoors, her dogs, and enjoyed sewing. Preceded in death by: Husbands, Wade Headrick and Crowder Potter; Parents, Will & Nancy (Cummings) Galyon; Stepdaughter, Wanda Harvey & husband Butch; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Larry & Wanda Headrick; Daughter & Son-in-law, Brenda & Don Northern; Step-daughter, Donna Johnson & husband Paul; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; Three sisters. Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 PM with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
