Mrs. Gloria Jean (Cooper) Shapiro

Gloria Jean (Cooper) Shapiro, age 67, of Louisville, went home to be with The Lord on Friday, November 29, 2013. Gloria was formerly a Merchant Marine with a love and passion for the sea. She was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a special friend who will be deeply loved and missed by those who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Johnathan and Mary Cooper and is survived by her children, Robert P. Wagner Jr. of Elizabeth City, NC, Johnathan Charles Wagner of Louisville, TN, and Deanna Lynn and her husband, Andrew C. Lacey, and Grandchildren, Alec S. Wagner and Hunter R.F. Lacey, all of Mt. Dora, FL; Brother, Johnathan C. Cooper of Key West, FL; Sisters, Beverly (Cooper) and husband, Jack Smith of Maryville, and Cathy (Cooper) Deeley of Lenoir City, TN; Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family member also survive. A Celebration of Gloria's life will be held at 10:30 am on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Smithview Pavilion at 601 Smithview Dr, Maryville, TN 37803.
