Glenn Hitch, Sr.

Glenn Hitch, Sr. age 78 of Lakemont passed away at home on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. He was carpenter retired from Nova, Inc. He was a member of the former Alcoa Way Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Wife, Mary Grace Walker Hitch; Father, Joe Roy Hitch; Mother, Lena Long Hitch. Survivors include: Son, Glenn Hitch Jr.; Mother-in-law, Maxine Walker of Maryville; Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Joe & Louisa Hitch of Knoxville and Fred & Maxine Hitch of Lakemont; Sister, Eva Lee Davis of Alcoa; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating. Interment will follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
