Glenn Bryant Ballard, age 81 of Louisville passed away Sunday, August 25, 2019 at his home. Glenn was a member of Smoky View Baptist Church and retired from United States Air Force after 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by: Son, Stan Ballard; Parents, Chaptman and Audie Pearl Ballard; 2 Brothers; 1 Sister. Survived by: Wife of 58 years, Peggy Ballard; Daughters, Rose (Doug) Justice, Lanai (Eric) Slater; Grandchildren, Skylar, Thalen, & Bryant Justice, Nick Slater, Chassidy (Bradley) McAvoy, Micah (Katie) Ballard; Great-grandchildren, Copeland Ballard; Daughter-in-law and Husband, Lisa Ballard and Richard Rice. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Smith West Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Dr. Mark Martin officiating.
