Glenda Sue Norton McCampbell

September 6, 1947 — March 11, 2019

Glenda Sue Norton McCampbell, age 71, of Maryville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at her home after an extended fight with pancreatic cancer. Born in Maryville, Sue was the daughter of the late James and Georgene Norton. She was a longtime member of Broadway United Methodist Church where she served on the Altar Guild and was a member of the Grounded Sunday School class. She also loved spending time with the ladies in Square One of the United Methodist Women. She was a fifty-year member of Mary Blount #133 order of the Eastern Star. A very active member of the East Tennessee Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America enjoying car shows, tours, fun, and fellowship. She enjoyed water aerobics at Olympia. She also loved transporting children to the Shrine Hospital with her husband. Survived by her husband, Blake McCampbell; daughter, Angie Kizer (Preston); son and caregiver, Randy; granddaughter, Lindsey Kizer; and extended family. Special thanks to University Cancer Specialists, Dr. Aljadir and staff; and Amedisys Home Hospice. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bob Hayes and Rev. Laura Rasor officiating.
