Glen Yearout age 73 of Maryville passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired Mechanic and Auto Body repairman, who faithfully served his community and was always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed the time he spent in his Garage with his many friends. He was an avid Nascar fan, wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who is deeply loved and will be missed by those he leaves behind. His granddaughters who are his pride and joy, always made his eyes light up during the special times they spent together. Preceded in death by his, step-son, Terry Rucker; sister, Margie; brothers, J.B., Harold, and Pete; parents, Benjamin and Ivory Yearout. Survivors include his devoted wife of 31 years, Bobbie Yearout; daughters and sons-in-law, Jan and Johnny Stinnett, Missy and Moe Myers, Lisa and Kelly Hoard; grandchildren, Brittany Stinnett and Olivia Hoard; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Rev. Ron Blair, Gail and Ken Clowers; Sister-in-law, Paulette; close personal and special friends, Debbie Breeden and Larry Morelock; Several nieces and nephews; and special pets, Sissy, Blue 2 and Tonnie. Funeral service will be at 1:00 Monday, September 29, 2014 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Randy Cruze officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Blount County Animal Shelter.
