Gladys White

Gladys White age 90 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at the family home. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher for over 40 years. Gladys was a mother to the whole church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by: Parents, William & Maude Webb; Brothers, Clyde, Ollie, and Bill Webb; Sister, Ada Dockery; Grandson, Jackie Dale Bryant. Survivors include: Husband of 70 years, Rev. Carl White; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Randy & Pat White of Maryville and Chris & Kimberly White of Seymour; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Linda & Johnny Bryant of Maryville and Vicki & David Hickman of Maryville; Grandchildren, Cindy, Traci, Scott, Jeff, Lisa, Ginger, Jordan, Jacob, Shane, Todd, Nikki; Great-Grandchildren, Chase, Lee, Evan, Taylor, Jake, Marley, Alex, Cory, Kaci, and Carson. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Carl White and Rev. Greg Long officiating. A fellowship will follow the service in the chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
