Gertie Nuchols Keller

Gertie Nuchols Keller, age 96, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Kindred Healthcare. She was a lifelong and the oldest member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husband Wade Keller; daughter Darlene Keller Payne; parents Andy and Tenia Nuchols; and 12 siblings. She is survived by daughters Willa Faye Wilhoite of Smyrna, GA, Della Mae (Bill) Nuchols, and Marie (Jim) Pierce of Maryville; son Wayne (Kathy) Keller of Maryville; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 34 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at Smith Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Rex Everett and Rev. Roger Wilhoite officiating. Interment will follow at Old Piney Grove Cemetery.
