Geraldine "Geri" Faye Haworth

Geraldine “Geri” Christopher Haworth, age 83 of Maryville, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church Maryville and Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She held several positions in various churches; Sunday School teacher, Day Care director, church hostess, and bookkeeper. Geri served several years as Girl Scout Troop Leader and also with the adult education program. She was the original owner of Blount Bookkeeping Associates and enjoyed working with her clients over the years before her retirement in 2007. She enjoyed sharing with people her garden produce and making gift baskets of her homemade candles and cookies at Christmas. Geri loved animals and had several precious pets over the years. Preceded in death by parents, Andy and Irene Christopher; sisters, Dorothy Christopher and Barbara Woodward. Survived by niece, Elyse Woodward; special friends, Rob Roberson, Joyce Tolson, and Margaret Ouillin; several cousins and friends; precious cat, Shadow. In lieu of flowers, Geri requested that donations be made to Blount Humane Society, 1005 E Broadway Ave, Maryville, TN 37804 or Ppaw Spay & Neuter Clinic, 6869 Morganton Rd, Greenback, TN 37742. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. The Entombment will follow at 3:00 PM at Grandview Mausoleum.
