Georgie Ellen Bradshaw

Georgie Ellen Bradshaw age 98 of Townsend died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former teacher and librarian in Townsend. Georgie also worked at the Little River Railroad Museum. Preceded in death by her parents, James Homer and Loura Mae Bradshaw; brothers, Glen, John Bill, and Dan Bradshaw; sisters, Wilma Brooks, Jerry Stroh, Jennie Abbott, and Louise Webb. Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, C. H. and Helen Bradshaw of Pensacola, FL, and Dale and Barbara Bradshaw of Gatlinburg; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and John Byrd of Maryville; sister-in-law, Sandra Bradshaw McMahan of Gatlinburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special caregivers, Joan Ownby, Juanita “Wimp�? Gilbreath, Gail Johnson, and Beulah Helton. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church in Townsend with Rev. Steve Linkinfelter officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
