George Williams

George Williams, age 85, of Maryville, died Thursday, November 6, 2008. He was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy; He was a Weather Technician with McGhee Tyson Airport and was preceded in death by his brother, Hoyt Williams; Survived by his wife, Deeann Kile of Maryville; sons, Douglas E. Williams, Jerry H. Williams, and John S. Williams; step-children, Linda Sologic, Fred Witten, Marty Johnson, Cindy Ridinger, and Kernie Houser; grandchildren, Jennifer and Stephanie Williams; 10 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law, David and Ann Williams of Hampton, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Bill Palmer of Edmond, OK. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Bob Dalton officiating. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA.
