TAYLOR, REV. G. EARL, age 81 of Maryville passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Colonial Hills Health Care facility. Rev. Taylor pastored a number of churches in Maryville and Knoxville and served as a full-time Evangelist for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hassel Taylor; brother, Rev. Hoyle Taylor; and sister, Audine Garland. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lucille Taylor; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Bill Bolinger of Maryville and Cindy and Larry Gregory of Friendsville; Grandchildren, Lisa and husband Jack Roberts, Mendy and husband Jimmy McBrayer, Daniel Bolinger and fianc� Maria Forrester, Laramy Gregory and wife Lois, and Caleb Gregory; Great Grandchildren, Bailie and Will Roberts, Braxton, Alex, and Max McBrayer, Schuyler Tipton, Ciara and Hayden Forrester; brothers, Rev. Charles Taylor and Ray Taylor; twin sister, Pearl Sharp. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Hills Nursing Center for their care and compassion; The family will receive friends on Monday, February 5, 2007 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Madison Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Cummings, Rev. Phil Wilson, and Rev. Joel Wilson officiating. A celebration service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Entombment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in the Grandview Mausoleum.
