George G. Moody

George Grove Moody age 89 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at his home. He was a member of Niles Ferry Baptist Church. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and employee of the State of Tennessee. Preceded in death by: Wife, Frances Hicks Moody; Daughter, Jackie Elkins Brown. Survivors include: Immediate family, Wayne & Cathy Brown of Knoxville; Granddaughters & husbands, Amy & Brian Blackman of Memphis, Kim & Matt Giles of Knoxville, and Robin & Marcus Cochran of Huntsville, AL; Great-Grandchildren, Marlee & Addy Giles; Special friends, neighbors, and caregivers, Bud & Donna Frotton. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Matt Giles officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the entombment at 1:00 PM, Friday, December 12, 2008 at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel.
