George Robert Cowan

George R. "Bob" Cowan age 81 of Friendsville passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 after a hip fracture while exercising and a subsequent heart attack and aortic valve failure. He was a faithful member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Louise; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" Cowan and David and Carolyn Cowan; daughters and son-in-law, Sharon and Monty Friesen, and Sheryl Cowan; sister, Virginia Stroud; granddaughter, Amy Cowan. Celebration of Life service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Mickey Rainwater officiating. A reception will follow at the Hampton Hall at Smith Professional Center.
