Geneva Osborn

Geneva “Jean” A. Osborn, age 85, of Beaumont, TX, formerly of Townsend, TN was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 26, 2015. She was born march 19, 1930 in Toto, Indiana to Ernest and Myrtle Salyer. Geneva loved living in the Great Smoky Mountains, her cat Tom, but most of all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She touched so many lives with just her beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by: her parents; the love of the life husband, Hugh R. Osborn; brothers, Earl Salyer, Fred Salyer, Burl Salyer, and Donald Salyer; sister, Betty Wood; step-daughter & son-in-law, Ann & Dan Aebig; and father of her children, Donald Allen. Survived by her four children, Karen Allen, Dave & Denise Allen, Donna & John Kacher, and Mark & Connie Allen; three stepchildren, Les & Darlene Osborn, Daniel & Jane Osborn, MaryAlice Shelley & partner Lynda Hudy; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Weiland. Geneva was a beloved woman and cherished by all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by all her friends and family. Memorial service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Mary Alice Shelley, JP of St. Catherine’s Ontario officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery.
