Gene Rose

Gene Rose age 76 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at home. He retired with 45 years of service from General Shale (Rogers Trucking). Gene was a good family provider that will be missed. Preceded in death by: Wife, Clara J. Rose; Dad, Ed Rose; Mom, Ruby Cline; Daughters, Dena Rose, Geneva D. Trotter, and Rhonda Walker; Sister, Margie Elmore; Brother, Kenneth Rose. Survivors include: Sons, Bobby Rose, Jeffrey Lynn Williams, Donnie & Sherry Lockett; Daughters & Son-in-law, Tonya & David McGimsey and Becky Hall Branton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Brother, Joe Price; Sisters, Gladys Sprunger, Lucy & Ken Extine, Judy Oliver, Nancy Breeden, and Linda & Ted Thomas. Family will receive friends from 8:00 until 9:00 AM, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Smith East Chapel. Funeral service will be at 9:00 AM with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
