Gary Wayne Mason, 66, of Rockford, TN, passed away June 25, 2012. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Fred & Ruby Mason; Brothers, Estel, Frank, & Lynn Mason. Survived by: Wife, Nancy; Daughters, Amy and Emily Mason; Brother, Bill Mason; Sisters, Caroline Long and Betty Jo McCurry. His 2003 Father's Day gift from his daughters: Dear Dad, Thank you for the little things and big things you do for us every day. Not only for us, but for Mom, too. Thank you for helping out around the house. All the roles you play: dog-sitter, trash collector, dishwasher, banker, groundskeeper, chauffer, lunch-packer, note writer, poet, song singer and so much more. Thanks for the encouragement and unconditional love. Thanks for saying no even when we wanted you to say yes. And for saying yes when we thought you'd say no. Thanks for all the prayers on our behalf. And for those phone calls just to see how our day was. We know how much you love us, not only by what you say, but also by the way you show it. So many simple things-but done with great love. You let us be silly with you and we love your smile and sense of humor. You make it fun to be your daughters! Happy Father's Day! We love you!
