G. Hugh Holt

G. Hugh Holt, age 94, of Alcoa, entered eternity Saturday February 16, 2013. He was known to all that knew him as "Hootie"; who loved to tell his stories about the trips he and mom took all over the country, his many life experiences and his grandkids; in addition to talking baseball and car racing to everyone he knew. Dad never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his parents P.T. and Lucy Holt, brothers Jakey and Ragan Holt, sister Reba McNabb, and his sweetheart of 62 years, Ruth Holt. He is survived by his son J. Barry Holt of Mt. Juliet, TN, grandchildren Nicholas and Natalie Holt of Mt. Juliet, TN, and his brother Pete Holt of Manchester, TN, in addition to many relatives, nieces and nephews.
