Frieda Rosetta Langston

Frieda R. Langston, age 90, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the family home.  She was born in Blount County, TN and graduated from Everett High School.  She was a member of 1^st Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir.  Frieda retired from Proffitts where she was the Boys Assistant Buyer and was a 20 year military wife.  She loved watching her grandchildren play sports.  Preceded in death by:  husband, Charles (Chuck) Langston; parents, Hazel & Fermond Best; brothers, Rayford, Clyde, Warren, and Robert Best; son-in-law, Tony Lollar.  Survivors include:  daughters, Debbie Lollar and Terri Langston; grandsons, Brian, Nick, Matt Lollar; great-grandchildren, Pierson, Greyson, and Paul Lollar; sisters, Geneva Fuller and Linda McDaniel; brothers, Walter Best and Kenneth Best. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Alzheimer’s Tennessee Inc., East TN Office, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN  37919.  Friends may come by the funeral home between 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 and between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 to pay their respects and sign the register book.  Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and entombment at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev.
