Fred W. Emert

Fred W. Emert age 95 of Walland passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of West Millers Cove Missionary Baptist Church and a World War II Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, 2nd Division. Fred retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company with 43 years of service. Preceded in death by; Wife of 67 years, Ruth Aileen Myers Emert; Mother, Belle Tipton Emert; Father, William Ira Emert Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Pam Reed, Kim & Sandy Leonard, Pat & Gregg Niemeyer; Grandchildren, Kevin Reed, Angela Stogsdill, Jessica Greene, Kristy & Sean Noda, and Kyle Niemeyer; Brother & Sisters-in-law, John & Wanda Emert. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
