Franklin G. Bott

Franklin G. Bott, age 86 of Maryville, went to be with his Lord and entered eternal rest Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was born in Abingdon, VA on September 1, 1937. He was a member of First Christian Church for 62 years. Frank worked for Simpson Construction Company in Clevland, TN, building bridges until he retired. His love for horses filled his leisure time. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leona Large Bott and Robert Jesse Bott; son, Steve Bott; 3 sisters, Martha Jane Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Margaret Helen Mitchell of Abingdon, VA, and Dorothy of Abingdon, VA. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sandra L. Bott; son and daughter-in-law, Michael L. Bott and Billie Sue of Maryville, TN; daughter-in-law, Joyce Bott; grandchildren, Jason and Lacy Bott, Wesley and Kate Bott, Lexie Bott; great-grandchildren, Paisley and Bryce Bott; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Juanita Rose; niece, Melba Berthume; nephews, Charles Jones, Jeff and Christy Rose, Wesley and Courtney Rose.
