Pendley, Frank C.; age 77, of Alcoa, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at U.T. Medical Center. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo H. and Clifton Pendley, sister and brother-in-law, Delta and Frank Cunningham, brother and sister-in-law, Melborn and Jewell Pendley, and nephew, Tim Cunningham; Survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan Pendley; mother-in-law, Mildred C. Hart; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Hart; nephews, Mike, Dennis, Mark, and Robby Cunningham, Rochie Pendley, and Joe Pendley; nieces, Shelia Vance, Gail White, Kim Green, Vandy and husband, Rick Wilkins, and Emily and husband, Jon Bishop; Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
