Frances “Frankie” Bowen Connor, after 78 years of service on Earth, Frankie was called home to serve her Heavenly Father. Frankie touched many lives through her holy and active life, notably her devoted husband of fifty years Thomas, sons John and Bob, and each of their wives of twenty years Katie and Becky. She lit up when playing ball or playing pretend with her grandchildren Aiden, Emma, Gabi, Mary Grace, and Elijah. She was a loving aunt, sister, and friend who would drive for hours to help loved ones with gritty tasks and happily work for days to help her neighbors through Mission of Hope, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, and Habitat for Humanity. A native of Anderson, South Carolina, and a fifty-year resident of Tennessee, Frankie enjoyed golfing and hiking in the Smokies. Family will receive friends from 4:30 until 5:30 PM, Friday, December 20, 2024 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 5:30 PM with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Highland Memorial Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel.
