Flossie Ellen Gardner

Flossie E. Gardner of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Maryville Health Care Center. She was a former member of New Providence Baptist Church and attended Grace Memorial Church for over 60 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Floyd Gardner; daughter, Mary Ellen Ivens; brother, Earl Tate; parents, Grover & Molly Tate. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Dr. F. Clark Gardner & Dr. Heather Butler of CA; daughter & son-in-law, Annette & Charles Gibby of Maryville; grandchildren, Jim Ivens, Richmond Ivens, Melissa Walker, Kim & Lance Brumbalough, Lisa & Randall Myers, John Gardner, Cara & Andrew Bates; 10 great-grandchildren; husband, William E. Mogridge Sr. & his family. Funeral service will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Larry Gibby officiating. Family & friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
