Florence E. Rickard

Florence Elizabeth Hamlin Rickard age 84 of Maryville passed away Friday, June 30, 2006 at her home. She was an active member of 1st Baptist Church Maryville. She taught piano lessons for many years in the Blount County area. She was a student at Maryville College and a life long learner. Florence was also a dedicated mother and mentor. Preceded in death by: Parents, Curtis Sr. & Elizabeth Hamlin; Brothers, Ed Hamlin, Curtis Hamlin Jr.; Sister, Carolee Hamlin. Survivors include: Husband, Hugh A. Rickard; Son and Daughter-in-law, Randall Hugh & Diana Rickard; Daughter and Son-in-law, Kimberly Rickard Soltero & Luis R. Soltero; Grandson, Daniel A. Robinson. Family and friends will assemble at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for graveside service and entombment at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 3, 2006 with Dr. John Sharp officiating.
