Preceded in death by: Parents, Walt & Kittie Gooden of Vonore; Husband, Charles Oscar (Ott) Nichols; Sister, Vinnie Buchanan; Brothers, C.R. and Callaway Gooden; Granddaughter, Elissa Danielle Nichols. Survivors include: Sons, Leo Nichols & Friend Mary Justice of Maryville, Charles R. Nichols & Wife Bobbi of Knoxville, and Marvin E. Nichols & wife Linda of Maryville; Grandchildren, Shawn Corbett of Knoxville, Sherri Nichols of Lenoir City, Amira Corbett of Maryville; Great-Grandchildren, Seth Knaffl of Nashville, Jared Knaffl of Maryville; Great-Great-Grandson, Sean Knaffl of Nashville; Sister, Minnie Kyker of Vonore. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Smith West Chapel with Dr. Charles Bailey officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery.
