Mrs. Evelyn P. Macht

Evelyn P. Macht, age 81 of Maryville passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2017 with her family at Morningview of Maryville. She was a longtime active member of Piney Level Missionary Baptist Church serving in many capacities throughout the many years. Evelyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mae Pickens. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Rev. George R. Macht; son, Mark E. Macht; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Rob Caldwell; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Jim McMurray ; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jerry McKeehan; A host of nieces, nephews and other family also survive, as well as her grand-dog, Stewart. A Celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Grandview Cemetery for the Interment.
