Evelyn Hunt Harmon Cook age 89 of Alcoa went to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 14, 2009. She was an educator who served in various school systems for 61 years, and was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, John Franklin Moore and Roger Lawson Cook; parents, Junius Bible and Mable Douglas White Harmon; Sisters, Madge D. Harmon, Margarette W. Harmon, Marjorie Hope "Jo" Harmon Greene; Brothers, Junius Bible "J.B." Harmon Jr., Guy Wallace Harmon, Kenneth N. Harmon; Sisters-in-law, Janet Vann Cook, Marie Bardon Harmon, and Betty Lawson Harmon; Brother-in-law, Enoch Edward Cook; Survivors include; brother, Carl Bible Harmon of Barboursville, W. Va.; daughters, Andrea Cook Masvidal of Lenoir City, Jane Cook Simpson of Bartlett, and Mary Moore Gross and her husband Francis of Alcoa.
