Euna Rhea Raper Joines

Euna Rhea Raper Joines age 92 of Maryville passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a longtime member of Broadway Baptist Church with over 30 years of service with the church youth. Euna was a member of Blount Hills Home Demonstration Club and a matriarch of five living generations. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply loved and missed by those she leaves behind. Preceded in death by: Husband of 50 years, Earl Joines. Survivors include: Daughter, Katy Orr of Maryville; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Ronald & Jo Joines of McDonough, GA, Bob & Ann Joines of Brentwood, TN, Bill & Lib Joines of Knoxville, and Freddy & Brenda Joines of Maryville; Nine Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great-Grandchildren. Celebration of Euna’s Life will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Smith West Chapel with Pastor Tony Collins, Rev. David Webster, and Great-Great Grandson, Adam Scott officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
