Eugene R. Wilson

Wilson, Eugene R. age 73 of Walland passed away, Monday, October 30, 2006 at the family home. He was a member of Townsend Church of God and a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He retired from Sears after 29 years of service. Preceded in death by: Parents, Dallas & Tilda Wilson; several brothers and sisters. Survivors include: Loving wife of 50 years, Alice June Wilson; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Richard & Amy Wilson of Walland and Michael & Beth Wilson of Palm Beach, FL; Grandchildren, Meagan Wilson, Eric, Ryan, and Megan Hill, Scott Hiers; Special Sister-in-law, Shirley Petruska; several nieces and nephews; Life long friend and cousin, Frank Joe Lawson. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2006 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Dewey Brown and Rev. Lonnie Garner officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 3, 2006 at Bethel Cemetery in Townsend.
