Etta Marie Jenkins

Etta Marie Nunn Jenkins age 92 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Morningview Healthcare Center. She was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church and a former volunteer at the Chilhowee Baptist Center. Etta was a lifelong homemaker and previously worked at Eastern State Mental Hospital now known as Peninsula. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Husbands, Curtis L. Nunn and Hicks L. Jenkins; Son, Billy Ray Nunn; Parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Curtis & Lana Nunn of Gainesville, GA and Earl & Janet Nunn of Miamisburg, OH; Daughter-in-law, Margie Nunn of Maryville; Stepson, Ray Jenkins & wife Velma of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Mike, Jeff, and Danny Nunn, Jenny Cox, Tim Nunn, Kathy Vasconcellos, and Karen Riese; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; Brother & Sister-in-law, Clyde & Ely Cook of Powell; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Edith & Bill Wagner and Charlene & Bob Winters all of Springboro, OH; several nieces and nephews and a host of church family and friends. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. David Webster officiating. Entombment will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 8, 2010 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
