Esther Jane “Janie�? Kerr age 68 of Maryville passed away Friday, February 11, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. Janie enjoyed her Tuesday Girls Night Out Group. Janie liked to grow flowers, do crossword puzzles, and spend time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Father, John Edington; Sister, Mary Smith. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Todd & Beverly Kerr; Daughter, Lisa Gideon; Grandchildren, Darren Gideon, Ashley Kerr, and Taylor Kerr; Mother, Ruby Edington; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Mildred & Bill James and Wilma & Marvin McGill; Special friend and former husband, Howard Kerr. She will be missed by a host of family and friends. Memorial service will be at 7:00 PM, Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
