Ernesteen Elizabeth Davis

Ernesteen Elizabeth Wilburn Davis, 95 years young, made her peaceful journey to Heaven on May 3, 2017. She was at home surrounded by her family. Ernesteen was a charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a devoted worker in the church and community always putting others needs before her own. She lived life and raised her family by God’s Word. She was the heart of the family, a loving Mother that will sorely be missed by every life she touched especially her family. Preceded in death by: Husband, George “Pete” Davis; Son, Gerry Davis; Daughter, Vickie Davis Bright; Parents, Lee & Sadie Wilburn; Brother, Walford Wilburn; Sister, Mable Waldrop. Survivors include: Daughters, Virginia (Fred) Headrick of Maryville, TN and Elaine (Cline) Gregory of Friendsville, TN; Grandchildren, Tim Headrick, Brian Headrick, Cara Roach, Gary Bright, Jr., Kristi Lassiter, and Wayne Davis; Great-Grandchildren, Julie Ingle, Timmy Headrick, Jr., Ashley Wisecarver, Connor Bright, Case Bright, Gerry Wayne Davis, Macey Davis, Ava Lassiter, Nathanial Lassiter, and Ella Clair Lassiter; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Ava Ingle and Kade Wisecarver. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM, Monday, May 8, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM with Wayne Davis, Kristi Lassiter, and Cliff Wilburn officiating.
