Erleen C. Graves

Erleen C. Graves, age 95 of Maryville passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at The Lantern Assisted Living. As a young woman Erleen worked for the Blount County trustee's office and for the rationing board during WWII. She was an avid gardener – even into her later years. She was a member of First Baptist Church Maryville for over 60 years where she served in the nursery and church office and delivered flowers to the church's shut-in congregation members. She was proceeded in death by her husband of 47 years, Russell L. Graves Jr. She leaves behind her son, Ron Graves and wife Susan of Knoxville, TN; her daughter, Carolyn Glazener and her husband Ken of Lewisville, NC; grandchildren, Richard Graves, Russell Graves, Todd Glazener, Tracey Glazener; great-grandchildren, Abby Glazener. Services will be held at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel 2304 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 10:30 am with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
