Long, Emma Lee Clark Knox age 92 of Maryville, passed away Monday, April 3, 2006 at Blount Memorial Transitional Care Center. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles C. Clark, R. Chandler Knox and Ferris Long; brothers, Ed & Eldon Pearson; sisters, Carrie Tubbs & Virginia Pierce. Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Bob & Valerie Clark of Lawrenceville, GA; son, Tom Clark of Knoxville; daughter & son-in-law, Susan & Steve Mull of Maryville; grandchildren, Tom Clark & wife, Lorri; Chris Clark & wife, Nickki; Laura Marsh & husband, Steve; Pearson Clark; Barrett Clark; great-grandchildren, Blake, Jonathan, Bethani & Baylee Clark, Nate Marsh; brother & sister-in-law, Tom & Marianne Pearson of Washington; sister-in-law, Ruth Pearson of Maryville; extended family, Susan & Bill Ballard & children; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2006, East Chapel, Smith Mortuary. The family & friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the graveside service & interment with Dr. Jerry Russell and Rev. Steve Musick officiating.
