Elva A. Chironna

Elva Chironna age 90 of Maryville passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Morningview Transitional Care. She was a retired nurse and served in Baltimore Marine Hospital during World War II. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by: Husband, Zola Chironna. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert & Barbara Chironna of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Amy & John Taylor of Knoxville, Christopher Chironna of Nashville, and Andrew Chironna of Nashville; Brother & Sister-in-law, Vernon & Ruth Travis of Canisteo, NY. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Smith West Chapel. Interment will be at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
