Ellen C. Loveday

Loveday, Ellen C. age 91, of Maryville, went to be with Jesus on September 2, 2006. She gave her life to Jesus when she was a teenager. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie C. Loveday; parents, Rev. and Mrs. M. L. Plemons; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Marusha Plemons; sister, Lola Atchley. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Phyllis Loveday of Louisville, Delmar and Gerry Loveday of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dan Carter, Lois and Jim Davis all of Maryville; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Arnold Reed; sister-in-law, Peggy Loveday; several nieces and nephews and other relatives. A special thanks and appreciation to the nurses and caregivers at Asbury Place Alzheimer's floor. The family appreciates the kindness and gentleness you have shown to our mother and to our family. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. David Webster officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 4, 2006 at Sherwood Memorial Garden for the interment.
