Elizabeth Peterson

Liz Peterson, age 92, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Asbury Place. She was born on November 10, 1916 to Huse and Ann Rogers. Liz was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: Husband, John Peterson; Parents, Huse & Ann Rogers; Sister, Ernestine (Teen) Kurosky; Brother, Otha Rogers; Son-in-law, Bob Berrong. Survivors include: Daughter, Shirley Berrong; Son & Daughter-in-law, Don & Sherry Peterson; Grandchildren, Mindy Guilotte (David) of Kennesaw, GA, Mark Peterson of Nashville, TN; Todd Peterson (Crista) of Knoxville; Great-Grandchildren, Savannah & Cooper Guilotte, Emily Peterson, Logan, Maggie, Gracie and Hayden Peterson. Liz has four surviving sisters, Georgia Irwin, Norma Sloan, Polly Smith all of Maryville, Betty Butler of Marietta, GA. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and inurnment 1:00 PM, Friday, April 3, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Ted Witchen officiating.
