Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Pate

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Pate stepped into the Kingdom of Heaven.  Liz was the bravest of warriors, having fought over 7 types of cancer for over 30 years.  She was a lover of blue jeans and a sweet tea enthusiast!  She had many titles…child of God, warrior, survivor, daughter, sister, mother, friend, but her most cherished title was “Grammy”.  She loved her grandchildren more than anything, and she was so proud of each and every one of them.  Her children and grandchildren were her life.  She enjoyed spending time with all of them.  She also loved girl-time with her Mom and sisters…watching chick-flicks, Golden Girls, and lunch at Cracker Barrel.  She was a precious lady.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her father, PFC Kenneth Edward Ray Burch (KIA-Vietnam 1965), and infant grandson A.J.  She is survived by her parents, Larry and Charlotte Beckham; sisters, Tina Davis (husband, Greg) and Frances Prince (husband, David); children, Kenneth Beckham (wife, Lacey), Heather Julian (husband, Brad), Angel Pate, and Christy Garrett (husband, Andy); grandchildren, Alexus, Cheyenne, Kenny, Levi, Christian, Zophia, Aurora, Madison, Taylor, Spencer, Junior, Annie (husband, J.W.), Ashley, Tyler, and Sawyer; great-grandson, John; nieces and nephews, Bryce, Chloe, Drew (partner, Abbi), Benjamin, Nathaniel (wife, Diana), Gabriel (wife, Katherine), Isaac, William, Evelyn, and Elaana; great-nieces, Lilith and Alicia; Lindsay Beckham (family/friend).
