Eleanor McLemore Hobbs, age 87 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Asbury Place of Maryville. She attended Dotson Memorial Church and loved her Bible School class until she could no longer attend. Eleanor retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. and Blount Memorial Hospital. Eleanor loved her family and family times more than anything. She loved to fix steak and gravy and have all her family come to her house and enjoy the great food and fellowship. She loved the Tennessee Lady Vols, Pat Summit and she was a regular season ticket holder. She attended the SEC Tournaments and Final Fours and going to the beach yearly. Eleanor loved watching and feeding all the wildlife in her yard on the lake. Special thanks to Asbury Memory Care House Alpine, JoAnn, Jan, Jennifer, Summer, Kelly and Rebecca. The family would like to thank you all for the compassion and love you showed Mom everyday. Preceded in death by: parents, Willis and Ethel McLemore; brothers, Beryl McClung, Ed Lee, Issac McLemore; sisters, Sally McClung, Virginia Cox, Carolyn Thompson. Survivors include: children, David Hobbs (Kristi), Ricky Hobbs & wife Reva, Sandi Hughes & husband Jimmy; brothers, Tom McLemore & wife Pat, Ronnie McLemore & wife Paula, Glenn McLemore, and David McLemore; grandchildren, Matthew Hughes & wife Rebekah, Adam Hughes (Kaitlyn), Andrew Hobbs; great-grandchildren, Ellie Hobbs, Emma Hobbs, and Mason Hughes; to be reunited with special pet Benny; special friend, Anna Ruth McSpadden. The family will receive friends at Smith's Trinity Chapel on Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a Celebration of Eleanor's life to follow at 6:00 PM with Rev.
