Elda Augusta Davis

Elda Augusta “Blackie” Davis age 93 of Alcoa, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Shannondale of Maryville surrounded by family. She was a dedicated wife, loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. . She was also a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Austel Davis; Sisters, Bette Reuter and Hillis Bettis; Brother, Lester Blackburn. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Libby Davis; Grandchildren, Amanda & Wesley Miller and Cassie & Cade Womack; Great-Grandchildren, Lucy Augusta Womack and Lyla Cate Womack; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 PM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2016 at Grandview Cemetery.
