Elaine "Laney" Lankford

Elaine "Laney" Lankford age 59 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital to go home to be with her heavenly family. She served in the Tennessee Air National Guard. Elaine was a lifelong animal lover and enjoyed fishing, swimming and basically anything outdoors. She loved being with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Preceded in death by: Father, Paul Lankford. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Kira "Missy" & Josh Roy of Maryville; Mother, Edna Lankford; Brother & Sister-in-law, John & Penny Lankford of Sevierville; Sister & Brother-in-law, Marlene & L.A. Ezell of Knoxville; Sister-in-law, Susan Lankford of Kingsport; best friends, Theddie, Kevin, Amy & Noah Elmore and Kadie, Anthony & Bentley Merlano; many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, September 19, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Susan Lankford. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
