Edward Stratton Sr. Bayne

Edward Stratton Bayne Sr., of Maryville, was born June 25, 1938 and died June 16, 2011. Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Bayne and Mary Catherine Auvil Bayne and his beloved wife of 52 years, Corinne A. Bayne who died September 18, 2010. Survivors include his loving son, Eddie Bayne of Nashville who has been staying here in Maryville since last August; cousins, Darlene Graves, Leslie Hubbell, and Pam Robertsand husband, Roy, all of the Baltimore area; sister-in-law, Cheryl Rosensteel of Ellicott City, Maryland; niece and husband, Beth and Cory Sisco of Owings Mills, Maryland; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and George Roemer of Maryville; Ed proudly served his country as a Marine for 7 years. Ed was an avid Ham Radio Operator with Smoky Mountain Amateur Radio Club holding various offices in the club including President. Illness had slowed him down recently but he was still active with them. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in his memory. Edward S. Bayne Sr. had many friends and good neighbors who were always there to help.
