Edward H. Sellers

Edward H. Sellers age 85 of Maryville passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at UT Hospital. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator and an avid fisherman that enjoyed spending time at Chilhowee Lake and Cades Cove. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Edna Ruth Sellers. Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Roger Sellers, Don and Selina Sellers; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Gary Caughron; grandchildren, Casey and Robby Moses; Amberly Sellers and fiancé, Robert McKee; Kristen and Kyle Carney, Gary and Hanna Caughron, II, Nicole Lindsey and fiancé, Mike Tarwater, and Travis Sellers; great grandsons, Brandon Lindsey and Grayson Carney; great granddaughters, Madison Carney and Bailey Tarwater; sister, Mary Ruth Shipley; many nieces and nephews, great neighbors, and his dog, Barney. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at UT Hospital for their care and compassion. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in the Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Kimsey officiating.
