Gene Edward Robertson

Gene Edward Robertson age 63 of Maryville passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 of cancer. He was retired from Rockford Manufacturing after 41 years of service. Gene was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mildred Robertson. Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Mersino; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Kay Robertson of Speedwell, TN, Gary and Karen Robertson of Knoxville, Allen and Sharon Robertson of Maryville; sister, Rita Parmer of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Mike Rutherford of Maryville; nieces, Kim Hodge and Laura Riggs; nephews, David Robertson, Brian Simpson, and L.A. Robertson; several great and great great nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 22, 2013 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Rick Rutherford officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the Interment. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
